One of the best things to do in this landscape is walking. There is the "rota vicentina" between Santiago do Cacem and Cape St.Vincent in the southwest, with a total of 340km of walking paths, along one of the most beautiful and best preserved coastlines of Europe.

The city and its surroundings offer various cultural activities and monuments to visit, as the castle of Santiago do Cacem, the Matiz Church, the roman ruins of Miróbriga, the City Museum and many more.

The beaches offer very good conditions for surfing and the landscape invites you to walking or cycling.

In the close by Badoca Safari Park you will see wild animals from Giraffes to Zebras.
